Haiku Canada Weekend 2004

HAIKU CANADA WEEKEND 2004

May 21-23.  Workshops, book fair, readings, lectures, silent auction, etc.  This event provides an opportunity for friendly, relaxed association and poetic possibilities with haiku and related forms.  Starting Friday evening and ending Sunday evening.  To be held in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada at Carleton University. At the time of the conference, Ottawa will be hosting its annual Tulip Festival with many activities.  For more information about the festival and other tourist attractions, please see www.city.ottawa.on.ca

Leeds House accommodation provides a private bedroom as part of either a two or four-room suite.  Guests would share a semi-private living space with up to three other guests, and would share a washroom with one other guest.  Prices include taxes and a full breakfast.  Single $56 CDN per person. Double (one double bed): $39.20 CDN per person.  A block of rooms will be held until May 1 - best to arrange by early April.
